Every cell is generated from the fact records behind each profile. Where a cell says “Not published”, we checked the operator’s official source and it was not stated there.

Same beach, same brand tier, same transfer band

Both sit on Arena Gorda, roughly 25 km from Punta Cana International, both publishing 30 to 40-ish minutes. Both are RIU Palace, both family, both 24-hour all-inclusive.

This is about as close as two resorts get before the differences start to matter more, not less.

The decisive fact: which children are catered for

Riu Palace Bavaro publishes RIU Land as ages four to twelve. That is a real number, and it is rare.

Riu Palace Punta Cana publishes RIU Land and a separate RIU4U teen club — but publishes no age band for either.

So one tells you exactly who its club serves and stops at twelve. The other says it caters for teenagers but will not say from what age.

If your children are four to twelve, Bavaro has told you it works. If you have a fifteen-year-old, Punta Cana is the only one of the two that claims to have anything for them — and you will have to confirm the ages yourself.

That is the whole decision for most families, and neither answer is complete.

Water

Bavaro publishes eleven pools, two of them adults-only, plus Splash Water World.

Punta Cana publishes six — four swimming pools plus two dedicated children’s pools — and Splash Water World.

Eleven against six is decisive on variety. But note what Punta Cana has that Bavaro’s count does not specify: two pools reserved for children. And note what Bavaro has that Punta Cana does not publish at all: two adults-only pools inside a family resort.

Parents who want somewhere to escape to should read that carefully.

Scale

Punta Cana publishes 676 rooms. Bavaro publishes no room count.

An exact room count is the single most useful thing for judging how a resort will feel at breakfast, and only one of these two gives it to you.

Rooms

Both publish junior suites and above. Punta Cana adds a connecting junior suite pair; Bavaro publishes a Suite with sea view at the top.

Choose Riu Palace Bavaro if

Your children are four to twelve, you want the widest pool provision available, and you value two adults-only pools inside a family property.

Choose Riu Palace Punta Cana if

You are travelling with teenagers, you want dedicated children’s pools, or you want to know the size of the resort you are booking.

Where the evidence cannot separate them

Neither publishes a restaurant count. Neither publishes a mandatory fee schedule. Bavaro publishes no room count and Punta Cana publishes no club ages, so each is missing precisely the fact the other supplies.

Prices

We do not publish prices for this resort yet. We only publish a price when we can state the amount, what it covers, the basis it is quoted on, and when we observed it.

We have no affiliate relationship for this resort yet, so this is not a tracked link and we earn nothing from it. When that changes, this page will say so and the disclosure will appear above it.

New resort profiles, when they are actually verified

We publish a resort profile when we can source it, not on a schedule. Six are currently on hold because the operator will not let us read its own website.

This form is deliberately inactive. No email provider is connected, so nothing would be stored or sent, and we will not collect an address we cannot yet honour.
