Palm Beach

The strip

Palm Beach is Aruba’s high-rise resort frontage: hotels in a row along one stretch of sand, with the casinos, restaurants and shops that come with that. It is the walkable, busy end of the island.

We document three properties here.

Two of them share an address

Hotel Riu Palace Antillas and Hotel Riu Palace Aruba both publish J.E. Irausquin Boulevard 77.

One is adults-only. One is family. They are adjacent buildings under one brand on one plot.

This is the most interesting published fact on this stretch, and also the least resolved. The operator does not state how the site divides — whether pools and beach frontage are separate, or how much an adults-only guest is actually insulated from a family hotel sharing the address.

If you are paying specifically for a child-free environment, that is the question to ask, and it is not answered on either page.

The third property

Barcelo Aruba, also on Palm Beach, publishes a 373-room count and a kids club with both its age band and its opening hours — the most precisely documented children’s provision anywhere in our coverage.

It is a useful contrast: same beach, and an operator that publishes the numbers the RIU pages leave out.

What nobody here publishes

Not one of the three publishes a distance from Queen Beatrix International. Aruba is a small island and the airport is close, but “close” is our inference and not an operator’s statement, so we leave it at that.
