Every cell is generated from the fact records behind each profile. Where a cell says “Not published”, we checked the operator’s official source and it was not stated there.
They publish the same address
J.E. Irausquin Boulevard 77, both of them.
That is not an error on our part or theirs. These are adjacent hotels under one brand sharing a plot on Palm Beach. The location decision is therefore already made; what is left is audience and fit-out.
The decisive difference: who is allowed in
Antillas is adults-only. Palace Aruba is a family hotel, carrying the operator’s own Fun4All designation.
For most readers that settles it in one line. But it is worth pausing on something the operator does not address: two hotels sharing an address means an adults-only guest and a family guest are on the same site.
Neither page says how the site divides — whether pools are separate, whether the beach frontage is shared, or how far the separation actually goes. If you are paying specifically to be away from children, that is a question to ask before booking, and neither operator page answers it.
Where the family hotel is better documented
This is the surprise. Palace Aruba publishes eight restaurants and five bars, counted. Antillas publishes neither count, naming only venue types.
Same operator, same address, and one page commits to numbers while the other does not. On the published evidence, you know more about what you are getting at the family hotel.
Rooms
Antillas publishes suites only — junior suites and three Elite Club categories including an ocean-front suite.
Palace Aruba publishes a wider ladder: Double Standard, junior suites with partial and frontal sea views, a Suite, and a Junior Suite Ocean View with two bedrooms.
So Antillas is uniformly higher-graded; Palace Aruba goes both lower and, for families, more usefully.
The gap on the family side
Palace Aruba publishes no kids club at all — no name, no ages, no hours. It is marketed as a family hotel with nothing published about supervised children’s programming.
That is a material gap, and Barcelo Aruba on the same beach publishes both an age band and opening hours.
Choose Riu Palace Antillas if
You want adults-only, you want every room to be a suite, and you are content to take the restaurant and pool provision on trust. Ask about the minimum age and about how the shared site separates.
Choose Riu Palace Aruba if
You are travelling with children, you want a two-bedroom ocean-view room, or you simply want the better-documented of the two. Ask what children’s programming exists, because the page does not say.
Where the evidence cannot separate them
Neither publishes a room count, a pool count, or a distance from Queen Beatrix International. Neither publishes a mandatory fee schedule. On all four, the honest answer is that we cannot tell you and neither can they.
