Resorts that publish their kids club ages
The criterion, stated first
A resort qualifies if its operator publishes BOTH an age range and opening hours for its children’s club. Three of forty-three qualify. This list selects on disclosure, because a club you cannot check is a club you cannot plan around.

Barcelo Aruba
A 373-room family resort on Palm Beach with the most precisely published children’s provision in this set: a kids club with both an age band and opening hours. Its pool provision is the opposite of the Punta Cana giants – a single large lake-shaped pool rather than a dozen.
The catch: The operator’s own page states two different restaurant counts

Occidental Caribe
A 798-room family resort on Arena Gorda, the largest property in our coverage. It publishes a kids club with both its age band and its hours, a named water park, and separate minimum ages for the spa and the gym.

Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa
The best-documented family resort in our Riviera Maya coverage: 253 rooms, ten restaurants named individually, nine bars, a children’s water park, and a kids club that publishes both its age range and its hours. Ninety minutes from Cancun airport.

That is the finding, and it is worse than it sounds.
Nearly every family resort we document names a children’s club. Almost none says who it is for. A club for four-to-twelves is useless to a family with a two-year-old and irrelevant to one with a fourteen-year-old, and the label alone does not tell you which you are booking.
Three operators publish the age band and the hours.
Barcelo Aruba — ages 4 to 12, 9am to 5pm
Why it is here: The most precisely documented children’s provision in our coverage, alongside an exact room count of 373.
The catch: the hours end at 5pm. Its own page gives two different restaurant counts, and check-in is 4pm — an hour later than the regional norm.
Who it suits: families who need certainty before booking, on a compact Palm Beach property.
Occidental Caribe — ages 4 to 12, 9:30am to 5:30pm
Why it is here: Barcy Club with both numbers published, plus a named water park and a kids-only pool. It goes further than anyone else and publishes minimum ages for the spa (16) and the gym (18) too.
The catch: 798 rooms, the largest resort we document, against three pools. The club stops at twelve, and there is nothing published for teenagers.
Who it suits: families with primary-school children who want a large resort with a lot going on.
Grand Palladium Kantenah — ages 1 to 19, 09:00 to 17:00
Why it is here: The widest published age range anywhere, by a distance. Baby, Mini and Junior Club covering 1 to 19 — it is the only property in our coverage that publishes provision for teenagers with an age attached. It also publishes how children are charged: under 3 free, 4 to 12 at half the adult rate, 13 and over at full.
The catch: ninety minutes from Cancun airport, the far end of the corridor. No pool count published.
Who it suits: families with a wide age spread, and anyone travelling with teenagers.
The pattern underneath
Two of these three are Barcelo-family properties and one is Palladium. RIU, which is the single largest operator in our coverage at eighteen properties, publishes a kids club on almost every page and an age band on none of them.
That is not an accusation of bad childcare. It is an observation that disclosure varies by operator far more than provision does, and that you can only choose on what is published.
Who should ignore this list
Adults travelling without children, and families whose children are old enough not to use a club. If organised childcare is irrelevant to your trip, this criterion selects on nothing you need.
